PUNTACANA INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL

The PUNTACANA International School was built in 2000 to provide quality, bilingual education to students of the growing, vibrant Punta Cana community. It is a private school with over 400 students dedicated to a unique, hands-on enquiry-based approach to learning. With an income-based tuition scale, The PUNTACANA International School offers a wide socio-economic range. In this unique setting, children receive a truly diverse educational experience with numerous cultures and over 20 nationalities represented.

Birth Certificate if he/she is born in the Dominican Republic, an abstract for school registration purpose; and if he/she is born abroad a certified copy certified by the Consulate of the country of origin or by a national Notary Public
Medical certificate
Certificate of National Exams (Students starting from the first of High School)
Transfer of registration for students starting from Second of High School
If he is a foreigner, photocopy of Dominican Residence or student visa
It is important to remember that the school works with a limitation of places by levels.

The students of initial level shall, in addition to what it is stated above comply with age criteria established by the school:
Nido (Nest): 2 years old on the 31st of October
Maternal (Nursery): 3 years old on 31st of October
Kinder: 4 years old on 31st of October
Pre-Primario (Pre-First): 5 years old in 31st of October
Primero (First): 6 years old on 31st of October
The student of Seventh Grade and further on, if he/she comes from a study center abroad, shall follow the proceeding established by the Secretariat of State of Education of the Dominican Republic to valid the academic program performed abroad. The PUNTACANA International School shall then place the student at the level determined by the Secretariat of State of Education.
